Anout ten years ago we added braze-ons to the full suspension bike, so it could accept a rack. We only included the bottom braze-one, since the bottom shock bolts could be used for the rack interface. Nowadays we have four dedicated interfaces for the rack. I recall a customer emailed me a picture of his full suspension bike with a rack. It looked nice, but something was amiss. I had no idea what was wrong, but something bothered me. I let it go for a while, then I realized he installed the rack on the top shock bolts. Essentially eliminating the suspenion by adding a rigid rack to support the frames halves. Obviously he would have broken the rack over time. I was happy to solve the puzzle of the improperly placed rack.
