Cyclists with fancy bikes that don't have eyelets for a rack now have choices. earlier they could only use seatpost racks. The other day I saw a truly universal frame mounted rack by Thule. It attaches to any bike with seat stays, which gives more support than a seatpost mounted rack. Take a look at the below photo's.
