Twenty years ago I lived in the Virgin islands, and commuted by bike. I did not own a car. Cycling around the island was normal, except downtown ( a tourist trap ). You could yell "on your left" and no one would move. I got a bell after a month on frustration, it was amazing. One flick of the lever and people would dive out of my way. The bell made my riding easier and safer.

We offer bells with all of our bikes. I recommend everyone uses them.
