Suunto T6 a gift I thought I wanted

I always has $20 watches my entire life. At the Interbike trade show I found out about Suunto, they had some nice watches. I wanted the greatest training watch, the T6. The Suunto T6 was a computer on a wrist in 2006. I could not justify the cost of over $500, I'm a cheapskate. After a couple years I got one as a gift, I thought I would be happy. Instead I was shocked to learn that I was uncomfortable wearing it, and it felt like a burden to have such an expensive item. Essentially I learned that prefer cheap stuff. After a couple of years my mom took it and used it, so it didn't go to waste. Later I got an Aqualung dive computer watch. Never wore that either, and that was it for me. I am only buying cheap stuff from now on.

Make sure you really want something before you get it....you maybe surprised to learn you don't really want anything.
