Today I was riding on the sidewalk next to the beach. Unfortunately a homeless guy distracted me, and my front wheel sunk in sand just off of the sidewalk, and I went down. I normally throw my handlebars into the ground to minimize impact on my body. However the dynamics were different and my handlebar got wedged along the sidewalk standing straight up, and my stomach fell right on my handlebar. It was brutal, please be careful on sidewalks around sand! 

The funny thing is I can not remember the last time I fell of of my bike....it's been years.
