Dyan means divine, hence it is the perfect name for our first big wheeled bike. We use 24" wheels, the fold is nominally bigger than our 20" wheel bikes. The bigger size allows riders to stretch out into a bigger cockpit. It comes with a rigid fork, because the bigger wheels absorb more road shock.
The 9sp drivetrain gives a 300%+ gear range, which is plenty for most riders. We also include a front derailleur braze-on for riders that need more range. Riders can add a chainring or two for up to a 600%+ gear range. Riders in the mountains or those touring across the country need wider gear ranges.
Lightweight aluminum frame and fork are paired with a racing quality drivetrain. We chose to provide stock V brakes & disc brake option ( disc hubs ). So riders can take this off road....this bike is based on having no limitations. It is small, big, fast, light, tough, and expandable.
We have an optional 24" disc only suspension forks for $79. This is a perfect upgrade to make this bike off road worthy, or an awesome ebike conversion.
Features:
- Lightweight aluminum frame with two tone paint
- Large 24" wheels
- High rise handlebars & 580mm wide
- Cold forged crank with chainguard ( double ready )
- 11-34 cassette
- Trigger shifters
- 9sp masterlink chain
- Double wall rims
- Cold forged cranks
- Sealed bearing disc ready hubs
- Integrated headset ( threadless )
- Folding pedals
- Stainless Steel spokes
- Brake levers with textured grip
- KMC masterlink chain for super-quick removal & cleaning
- Mini bar-ends (With many folding bikes, it is difficult to steer with a long stem. Bar-ends solve this problem but make the bike difficult to fold. Not with our mini bar-ends - they are easy to turn and easy to fold!)
- Folding left and right pedals for compactness
- Plastic chainring cover to make keep chain from getting dirt and grime in your car or storage area. Also keeps the chain from falling off.
- Ding-a-ling bell to alert pedestrians and cars.
- Extra-wide rise handlebars to allow the rider to stretch out and feel comfortable. Rotating the rise bars can push the rider towards the saddle ( for upright comfort riding ) or away from the saddle (for more aggressive riding)
- Super duper soft comfortable grips
- Front and rear Quick Release skewers to quickly remove either wheel
- Velo "love channel" saddle
- Braze-ons to allow a water bottle cage or pump

Just what we wanted
We have 2 8H's aboard our boat, and have been very pleased. We wanted an extra bike for guests visiting our condo, which has limited storage, and this larger wheeled bike is perfect. Rides smoothly, has plenty of gear range, and folds easily for storage.
