Wearing the right cycling clothes in the cold
Cycling shorts are perfect for temperatures above 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
For temperatures below freezing riders will need to wear tights. Cycling tights have are padded for comfort. They also have a strap that goes around shoes ( which keeps them from running up ) to insulate your entire lower body There are many types of tights, some are thick and have special wind blocking material with extra thick lining ( for temperatures as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit )
Riders in super cold areas will need tights with an extra liner, while others should be fine with standard tights.
