We started day #2 at the beach and playground in IJMUIDEN. It's hard to top a beach and playground for kids! Eventually we left IJMUIDEN, and headed to Amsterdam. We biked around Ann Franks house and much of downtown. It started out fun and easy but when we reached the heart of downtown it got wild. There were thousands of cyclists all over passing on the right and left, many motor scooters in the cycling lane. Additionally we were passing roads with cars and motorcycles. This was so dangerous, but we stuck together. At the end of the day the kids were in awe of the enormity of the day. We stopped in a couple playgrounds to help them settle down.

The bikes worked perfectly, I rode a yellow 9FS, and my kids traded a mini and Kids Race bike ( with suspension ).
