Step #1 Place the bike in 4th gear.
Step #2 Inspect the yellow lines on the bottom rear of the hub. They need to line up while the bike is in 4th gear.
Step #3 If the yellows do not line up, turn the barrel adjuster until they do. Then tighten the locknut to keep everything in place.
